WATiN web recorder++ prototype
WATiN web recorder++ prototypeThe WATiN web recorder is based on the web recorder ++ originally written by Scott Handsleman and Rutger Smit. After hooking up to the sourceforge repository for web recorder++, I got my hands on the code base and started to play. The first bugs to fix were around the marshalling to the UI thread which were causing cross threading exceptions. Once, these were fixed up I moved onto changing the Ruby code to C#, and adding some support for div’s and span’s.
Phalanger - the PHP Language Compiler for .NET Framework
The Phalanger is a complex solution giving web-application developers the ability to benefit from both the ease-of-use and effectiveness of the PHP language and the power and richness of the .NET platform. This solution enables developers to painlessly deploy and run existing PHP code on an ASP.NET web server and develop cross-platform extensions to such code taking profit from the best from both sides. Compatible with PHP 5.0, the object model in Phalanger enables to combine PHP objects with the .NET ones. It is possible to use a class written in PHP from a .NET application or even to import a .NET class (written for example in C# or Visual Basic .NET) into PHP scripts provided that this class respects the PHP object model implemented in the Phalanger. The Phalanger is the only existing PHP compiler which produces .NET Framework MSIL bytecode.
Anthem.NET is a free, cross-browser AJAX toolkit for the ASP.NET development environment that works with both ASP.NET 1.1 and 2.0.
What sets Anthem apart from other frameworks is that it integrates itself into the server-side control model made popular by ASP.NET. This includes full support for view state, server-side events, and everything else the typical ASP.NET developer has grown accustomed to.

AutoIt v3 - Automate and Script Windows Tasks - For Free!
AutoIt v3 is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting. It uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks in a way not possible or reliable with other languages (e.g. VBScript and SendKeys). AutoIt is also very small, self-contained and will run on 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 out of the box with no annoying "runtimes" required! You can even make compiled executable scripts that can run without AutoIt being installed!
Welcome at the WatiN (pronounced as “what-in”) homepage! Inspired by Watir, I started developing WatiN in December 2005 to make a similar kind of Web Application Testing possible for the .Net languages. Since then WatiN has grown into a feature rich and stable framework and consists of about 50 classes, wrapping all major HTML elements. With WatiN you can access elements in the IE window and in modal and modeless HTML dialogs. WatiN handles alert windows, supports a basic but extensible logging mechanism and a great deal of the code is covered by unit tests. WatiN is developed in C# and aims to bring you an easy way to automate tests with Internet Explorer.
Rainbow - Rainbow Portal - An Open Source C# Portal Built By The Community
The Rainbow project is an open source initiative to build a comprehensive content management system using Microsoft’s ASP.NET and C# technologies. Rainbow, available today in 29 languages, allows content authoring to be safely delegated to role-based team members who need little or no knowlege of HTML. Rainbow optionally supports a two-step approval-publish process. 75 plug-in modules are now included in the standard release, including support for an e-store, XML news feeds, Flash, Maps, Newsletter, Surveys, Forums, Document Management, Custom Lists, and more. It’s also fairly easy to build your own custom modules using the guidelines provided on the Developer Documentation page.
